Beyond the Headliners: Five Artists to Catch at Florida Groves 2026

Written by Emily (Mily) Ward | April 10, 2026

As festival season picks up across Florida, Florida Groves Music Festival returns to the Central Florida Fairgrounds for a two-day celebration of music, art, and community on April 11–12 (starting tomorrow).

Known for blending reggae, hip-hop, rock, and electronic sounds into one space, Florida Groves has built a reputation for bringing together a diverse lineup while maintaining a strong local and cultural identity. With multiple stages, art installations, and a crowd that shows up ready to engage, the weekend continues to stand out as one of Central Florida’s most distinct festival experiences.

Festival hours run from 1 PM to 11 PM on Saturday and 1 PM to 10 PM on Sunday, giving attendees a full weekend to explore both major acts and emerging talent.

While the lineup is stacked from top to bottom and we are of course excited for Hippie Sabotage, here are five sub-lining artists we’re especially looking forward to catching this weekend.

1. SunSquabi (Saturday)

SunSquabi’s live sets bring a fusion of electronic production and funk-driven instrumentation that feels built for a festival environment. Their ability to blend groove with high-energy drops makes them one of the more dynamic acts on Saturday’s lineup.

2. Motifv (Saturday)

Motifv brings a forward-thinking electronic sound that leans into bass and experimental elements. His sets tend to feel immersive and unpredictable, offering a shift from more traditional festival structures.

3. Wonkywilla (Sunday)

Known for a more off-kilter, genre-blending approach, wonkywilla delivers a sound that doesn’t sit in one place for long. Expect a set that moves between textures and tempos, keeping the crowd engaged throughout.

4. Maddy O’Neal (Sunday)

Maddy O’Neal continues to stand out with a balance of strong production and live energy. Her sets often carry a sense of momentum that builds naturally, making her one of the most engaging performers to catch across the weekend.

5. Vincent Antone (Sunday)

Blending funk, soul, and electronic elements, Vincent Antone brings a groove-driven sound that translates effortlessly into a live setting. His performances tend to feel both polished and organic, making him a strong addition to Sunday’s lineup.

Florida Groves continues to expand beyond music, incorporating art, local vendors, and a community-focused atmosphere that reflects the culture of Central Florida. The Central Florida Fairgrounds transforms into a space where genres intersect and audiences connect, creating an experience that extends well beyond the stage.

The festival takes place at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, Florida, with gates opening at 1 PM both days.
